I know Aiden and Abby look less than thrilled, but that is only because Aiden was bothered by the mustache and Abby just wanted the darn candy. You may also notice the numerous pictures of Abby, and that is because as soon as I said that Aiden and Caitlyn were done, they bolted for the neighbors. Thanks Abby for the cooperation!
Miss Caitlyn as Jasmine #2. As you may recall from my previous post she split her pants of the original costume in the church bouncy house. I sewed that up so well that they split all the way down the side of her leg at her school party. All I can say is you get what you pay for!
Abby was dropped off early by John and was very excited to rip into the Sweet Tarts. Unfortunately she moved to fast to get the before picture, but I did manage to catch a shot of her spitting it out once she realized it wasn't chocolate!

Happy Birthday Abby!
You know those toys that you see commercials for and think, "what goofball parent would ever waste money on such a goofball toy?". Well here I am, goofball parent #1. Caitlyn got a Zhu-Zhu pet at her gymnastics party and Abby was completely obsessed with it, to the point it became somewhat of a pet. What can I say, you always want to see your child happy! Oh, and you may find that a Barbie car is a little old for a 2 year old, but the girls fight constantly over Caitlyn's darker pink version. So here is to a few more minutes of less screaming for us during the day!
School Parties
So crazy Lisa signed up to make the snack for Caitlyn's class party....and then Aiden's class needed volunteers for his Harvest Party, so I volunteered to make the snack for that too. Let me say it again, crazy Lisa. Loved the way they turned out, hated the late nights and stress. After this month of insanity I have sworn to John and the kids to take a break from the stress and enjoy the season and the special moments with them that an overly busy schedule force me to miss.
Trunk or Treat
Middletown Christian Church has a great activity that they have opened to the community where members decorate the trunks of their cars and pass candy out to the kids. All was good until Aiden was trampled and Caitlyn split her Jasmine pants in the bouncy house. Oh well, just when I think our life is monotonous our kids snap us back into reality! Nana and Papa ran out of candy just in time to help the pack stay together.
A Family Trip Back to The Patch
So after a birthday celebration at an over-crowded Huber's, John and I decided to take the kids to Gallrein Farm in Shelbyville where their preschool has taken them. The crowd was minimal and we ventured right out to the patch after a quick jump in the hay pit and hay bale tower.
A quick kiss from daddy.
Gosh, they all look so good....and sooo big!
The Bizzell ladies
Master of Pumpkin Picking
This was her first and last attempt at feeding the "starving" billy goats.
Who needs a pumpkin when we have rock candy suckers!!
Pony rides!
Take a closer look at her mouth, talk about scary!

This Party of Five has a Party for Two!
Since Caitlyn's 4th birthday last year went over so well at Huber's we decided to give it a try again this year. The weather was perfect, almost a little too warm in our layered clothing, but a great sun-filled day to say the least. We are so fortunate to have such a big, wonderful family who joined us in celebrating Caitlyn's 5th and Abby's 2nd birthdays. We enjoyed a great lunch of a batch of regular and chicken chili, followed by an assortment of sweet treats. My only complaint would be that we visited a little too late in October. The crowd was huge, so much so that we didn't venture into the pumpkin patch or anywhere else for that matter. Huber's has always been such a great family tradition, but I think I'll savor it's joy next year the first weekend in October and not centered around any celebrations other than the beauty of fall! Get ready for a lot of pictures, but again, we are so grateful to have these snapshots of a wonderful time spent with our family!
