On Blueberry Hill

Back to the farm! When I took the kids up to Huber's for strawberry picking I took note of the other upcoming fruit picking dates. On tap for the day, peaches, red and black raspberries, and bluberries. It was another perfect day weather wise and the berries were plentiful. Even I got into the feel of the farm and tried out my new hat, the kids thought I looked like a cowgirl!

Goodbye Florida

Ohhh, is it that time already??? Surely not, but it was time to say goodbye. The kids took one last snapshot in their little minds of the beach they loved so much. Loved the personalized Mickey hats my sister found online, so many memories, can't wait to make more.

A Night With Their Cousins

With the plans for an extended stay cut short, the kids and I spent the last night enjoying some much anticipated time with their Uncle Mike and Aunt Karen, their cousin Jordyn, Aunt Jenny and cousin Alex. All five kids quickly became the best of friends as they always do when we are able to get together. So sad that we only had a few hours, but dinner at Bubba Gump's and ice-cream after made for a memorable evening. Miss them all soooo much already, hope to escape to Florida again, sooner than later, to see them again!

A Day in The Sun

It was truly a beautiful day at the beach, the kids were like fish in the water which felt great. Their fear was there but much less controlling compared to the night before. They quickly made friends with other kids nearby and Aiden even got in on a game of frisbe in the ocean with some twenty-something year old guys!!

My two little fish, they truly loved to swim around, and those life vests, my new best friends!!


Aiden was given a kite for his birthday in March and there was no better place to let it fly than at the beach. Papa was his flying buddy, and lets just say that from the pool with the girls the site of it taking flight with little Aiden at the other end lit up my heart!
