Our first trial run with the new snow suits was a success, even though the snowfall was a little skimpy. (Snow is still falling, however, so I may have just jinxed us!)
The kids were in LAYERS of clothes under those snow suits which left little Abby in her boots 4 sizes to big struggling a bit. They all seemed to love the taste, but all I could think of was how good a cup of hot chocolate would be!
The anticipation...
Our three snow bunnies.
All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!
Oh this is fun....
....until you hit the frozen ground!
Peek-a-boo!
Snow angel? Poor kid had been working at this for 5 minutes, we may need another inch or two!
Love those eyes.
Hey, how come it's not any warmer inside this house?
Yummy!

A New Addition To Our Family
To our family of trees that is!! Here is our fifth tree that is in the kitchen. I stumbled across the ornament you see below that is a cake stand under a glass dome with tiny little cupcakes inside, I couldn't resist it. This started the search for more dessert inspired ornaments that fit my love of baking and are perfect on the three foot tree next to our table in the kitchen. And of course a baker wouldn't be complete without a stand mixer. Hopefully I will continue to add more in the following years, there are way too many empty branches!
Teacher Treats
I again this year am part of the Hospitality Commitee at Aiden's school, Greathouse/Shryock. For me this involves a lot of baking, which I love because I have been able to try out so many wonderful recipes. Because little Abby doesn't start preschool until next year, baking as opposed to onsite volunteering is all I can do. But hey, they don't seem to mind!!
A New Possibility
A fellow designer asked me to create a monogrammed canvas for a client of hers expecting a baby this month. I had long admired them on websites like poshtots.com, but had never taken the time to challenge myself to do one. I was very excited by the way it turned out and can't wait to make them for my girls! I also have considered adding this to my things I could expand on professionally, you know in my free time! Keep in mind the photography is not the best, note the front door and foyer rug as my backdrop!
A Christmas Performance, or Maybe Not
Last week Caitlyn's preschool's 4 year old classes and the kindergarten class put on their Christmas recital. And once again Miss Caitlyn couldn't wait.....to stand on the stage horrified of the crowd in front of her. She loves to sing and enjoys the choreography, but has a lot of stage fright. So here are her best shots where she looked the most happy, we think?

Family Christmas Pictures
Ahhh, it's that time again. After 2 hours of waiting, taking pictures, and waiting some more, I am sooo excited about our pictures this year. I have generally found that I get all three kids together for our Christmas card picture and at Easter, but this year I decided to make the greeting one that included all of us. And much to my surprise they turned out great. We have had some hit and miss trips to Portrait Innovations with the past couple proving to be the best experiences yet! The card has already been selected and will be ordered soon. Will be sure to post the completed card once they arrive!

Happy Halloween!
I know Aiden and Abby look less than thrilled, but that is only because Aiden was bothered by the mustache and Abby just wanted the darn candy. You may also notice the numerous pictures of Abby, and that is because as soon as I said that Aiden and Caitlyn were done, they bolted for the neighbors. Thanks Abby for the cooperation!
Miss Caitlyn as Jasmine #2. As you may recall from my previous post she split her pants of the original costume in the church bouncy house. I sewed that up so well that they split all the way down the side of her leg at her school party. All I can say is you get what you pay for!
Abby was dropped off early by John and was very excited to rip into the Sweet Tarts. Unfortunately she moved to fast to get the before picture, but I did manage to catch a shot of her spitting it out once she realized it wasn't chocolate!
